21.01.2022 A rare moment in my household when all of the kids are entertaining themselves. So I'm going to take a moment to enjoy using my Thermie without a helper and make some golden syrup in preparation for Anzac Biscuits.
19.01.2022 It's cold and wet here today, the perfect day for butter chicken. And curry wouldn't be complete without naan. So the kids are having fun making cheese and garlic naan bread while I get the rice ready. Here's the naan bread recipe we use https://cookidoo.com.au/recipes/recipe/en-AU/r132076
19.01.2022 Get in quick before they sell out
18.01.2022 We had a friend over for dinner tonight (isn't it fantastic that we can now entertain again). So I decided to make this cheesecake recipe in individual serves. They're perfect for anyone following a keto/lchf diet and they're really delicious. https://www.thermofoodieandthechef.com//chocolate-rosewat/
17.01.2022 My hubby recently got a new BBQ and we've all been keen to try cooking pizza's on it. And it didn't disappoint, the crust was perfect and crispy.
17.01.2022 We survived home schooling and the kids went back to school today. So I suprised them with a tea party this afternoon. Cupcakes and buttercream made in the thermie
13.01.2022 It's very strange, I feel like I should have more time at the moment, to enjoy cooking but I get to the end of the day and my brain is just tired... So, I've been really grateful for Cookidoo this week. It only took me 5 minutes to create a meal plan and a shopping list. Which means I don't have to think of what to cook each day, it's ready to go on my Thermie. I suspect we would have had alot more take away without it
13.01.2022 Sometimes home schooling looks a bit different. Today we spent some time together in the kitchen making cupcakes and playdough scented with lavender oil to make it a calming sensory tool. How is cooking part a schooling? Well there's reading, sequencing, maths, art (when you play with colour) and science. It's a nice change to be away from laptops.
10.01.2022 Happy Mother's Day, I hope you all have a wonderful day

08.01.2022 I found strawberries at my local fruit shop for 90c a punnet so I couldn't resist buying them to make some Jam. It's so much nicer than shop bought jam and really simple to make
