23.01.2022 Hey friends, as we lead into the holidays I wanted to ask if families were up for another date that you can all catch up? Whether this happens locally at the Park, Wetside or Little Monkeys, as not everyone could make it this week. Comment below if you would like to before Christmas and we can gauge interest. It is quite a long break until the beginning of Feb 2021! ... Don’t forget that this evening from 4-8pm the Howard Christmas Carols are on at the Bellert Park.

21.01.2022 Playgroup resumes this Thursday 16th July between 8:30am-10:30am. We look forward to seeing our regular families and meeting new ones! Unfortunately at this time we have to put Tea/Coffee on hold, however youre welcome to bring along your own drink and morning tea. The cost is $2 per child & 50 cents thereafter. 13.01.2022 Hello friends It has been rather quiet at playgroup these last couple of weeks. I understand that perhaps with latest health updates across the state and country, that people may be reluctant to come. In the meantime, I would like to share the theme for August! ... Play in nature - Go outside and pay attention to the things that children can see, smell, touch and hear. Ask them questions about these things. Let them pause, lead the way and explore. I have attached some ideas from Pinterest that may inspire you to create with your little ones. Throw on some old clothes and make some mud pies!

Next week will be our last for playgroup in the hall, this is due to several end of year school events that are occurring. ... Today it was discussed that our families would love to have the an end of year get together at Little Monkey’s Play centre & Cafe, Tinana. The date for this will be 19th November. The cost for entry is $6.50 up to four years and you must sign in when you arrive. Please comment below so others know that you’re intending to go along! Although I would love to join in on the fun, I will not be at the cafe on this date as I prepare our space for playgroup 2021. Miss Michaela

12.01.2022 Were finally back at Playgroup on this chilly morning. July is Science month so I thought we could mix some baking soda, soap & vinegar together to see what would happen! If you couldnt make it today, we will be here again next Thursday at the Howard School Hall from 8:30am-10:30am.

I will have a waiver for parents/guardians to sign before entering the water. The ratio is 1 adult to 1 child. Bring your togs, towel, hats, morning tea, water and sunscreen! Next Thursday is the last week of playgroup for the term. will resume Thursday 7th October. If you havent filled Playgroup Qld membership forms out, I will have them available.
