23.01.2022 TOMORROW FROM 8AM WE ARE BACK IN THE SWING OF IT!! We are still the same Howitt Park Market but due to the challenges of COVID this year things will look and be a bit different. The usual COVID adaptations you will see.... Although we are still spread out over the same area, we have a lot less stallholders tomorrow, partly due to the physical distancing we are having to implement but partly due to some of our rad stallholders are coming back at the next market or in the New Year. They have done such an amazing job getting all the documentation in and adapting like champions to changes behind the scenes, so tomorrow come down and support all these legends and spread some cheer, enjoy the sunshine and get some feel good going on. As we continue to serve our stall holders and their customers, these measures will protect their health, the health of our members, and the safety of the community The next Howitt Park Market will tak...e place on Sunday 22nd November 2020. Future markets are planned for 27th December 2020, 24th January 2021, 28th February 2021, 28th March 2021, 23rd May 2021 and 27th June 2021 Our hours of operation are un-changed. The market will be open from 0800 to 1300. Our regular stall holders have all been invited to participate, so, there should be little change to the selection of produce and wares that are offered for sale. Safety Protocols to Protect Our Customers Howitt Park Market has a Covid Plan in place. Our Volunteers and stallholders have completed the Australian Government Department of Health online Covid Safe training. Based on guidance from DHHS Victoria and Worksafe all visitors to the market guests must agree to: Masks and social distancing Wear a face mask Maintain 1.5 metres in distance from each other at all times Be patient and queue when requested. Hygiene and Cleaning Sanitise Hands thoroughly on arrival at the market Sanitise hands thoroughly at each stall if produce and goods are handled. Record Keeping Enter the market through one of the three designated entry/exit points Have the Covid Safe app on their phone OR provide contact details. We are working with the Shire and advice from Government agencies on when and how we can start trading again. ... Due to the sheer size of our market and the number of customers that come through our doors, there are obviously a large amount of logistical hurdles to jump. We are busting to get back, but health and safety of everyone involved is still our number one priority.
