13.01.2022 Expressions of Interest are being sought for a casual cleaning position at Howlong Toy Library. Purpose: The primary goal of this position is to maintain a clean, professional and safe environment for the Howlong Toy Library community.... Terms: $30.00 per hour. Bi-annual cleaning is required (i.e. 3hrs in Summer and Winter) however days and times are flexible. This is a casual position offered until the end of 2022. Continuation of work after 2 years may be offered subject to performance and available funding. Requirements: - Australian Business Number (ABN) - Public Liability Insurance - Demonstrated cleaning skills and experience - An understanding of workplace health and safety procedures - Ability to work independently without supervision Desirable: - NSW working with children check Key responsibilities: - Provide cleaning service to all areas of the facility this includes cleaning of common touch points (e.g. door latches, desk surface), dusting of shelving, removal of cobwebs and sweeping of floor - Ensure that toys are clean, sanitised and fit for use - Packing away toys and ensuring storage areas are neat and ordered - Report any maintenance issues to HTL president - Ensure the library is locked securely before leaving Please address EOI or enquires to: The Howlong Toy Library Committee [Email address hidden] Closes: 30th December 2020

11.01.2022 Hi all! Just trying to organize our AGM. Just wondering what days suit so we can get a few people there. I was aiming for Sunday but being Mother’s Day that’s not ideal. Could possibly do the following Sunday if that suits people? Prob after lunch due to Sunday sports. Otherwise I’ve got Friday arvo or Wednesday nights free. Usually only goes for an hour and we usually hold it at the golf club due to there being places for kids to play.

09.01.2022 Get the kids outside and active with an obstacle course. This activity promotes the development of gross motor skills, balance and coordination, strength and body awareness. You can build it to suit different ages and abilities, and to fit different spaces. So much fun!

A huge thank you to Chris and Jane Van Zanten for donating their time to build and install this amazing shelving. We are so lucky to have valued members and a dedicated committee to contribute to the growth of our toy library!
