08.01.2022 No time like the present to wet a line. A few of our guests have had luck with trout this week, while the bank fishos have been catching plenty of carp to keep them amuzed between the yellowbelly and redfin.

05.01.2022 The boat activity has certainly increased in our inlet but there still has been a few dropping a line with some success. Reports of a few trout, small reddies and the ever present carp. May certainly be worth having a fish while the wind is around for some of the newly stocked tennants of the lake, mind you they are not as big the pictured one.

04.01.2022 Just a quick note to let you know that our office and store will be closed today and tomorrow (Sunday and Monday). They will reopen at 10am on Thursday 10th September 2020.

03.01.2022 2000 new residents have been placed in the lake ready to be caught over the holiday period.

02.01.2022 It certainly has been a hit and miss approach for those fishing around the inlet. Most fishos that we have spoken with have had no luck with some fishing all night to no avail. Been plenty of fish seen on sounders but they must be full as they are not interested in bait or lures. There have been reports (I have seen the photo evidence) that some nice trout have been caught further up the inlet near the newly flooded area. If you can get out for a fish, let us know how you go. Lake level is currently 50.2%.

02.01.2022 If your able to come up, there seems to be plenty of fish around to try and catch.

01.01.2022 The park office and store will be closed from 12pm tomorrow (25/08/2020) until 10am 5/09/2020. There will not be any opportunity to purchase items from the store during the above period. Should you need to contact the park then please do so via email to [email protected] as we will be checking emails regularly. If you require emergency accommodation then please call the park on 03 5777 3588.

01.01.2022 Another good down pour last night has seen the lake rise to 53.9% which has now risen 30cm in the last 2 days. The water is slowly creeping towards the bottom of the main boat ramp. There is some snow on the surrounding hills, when you can see them through the low clouds that is.
