10.01.2022 Credit to Depesh Mandalia... look him up if interested in FB ads Here's a Facebook ads secret: the bidding auction can be 'hacked' when you know what data FB is looking for. Good data in = good scaling out.... Here's one example 1. Test audiences and creatives to find the right blend using automatic bidding, FB or IG (depending on how well suited your creative is), MOBILE only TOF - important to get the audience right early on - ideally an audience size close to 1M or higher works best with this. You can start with a modest $10/d spend but ideally you need a good volume of data you can trust. The higher the budget the quicker you learn. Move fast, lose fast, learn fast. 2. When test scaling, once you're seeing positive results in a normal campaign/ad set over a 3-day period switch to CBO, with manual bidding 3, 4 and 5X higher than your target CPA (multiple dupes of the same ad set) and a budget 5X higher than the highest manual bid multiplied by ad sets if you really want to give the CBO chance to breathe. 3. Cut bad ads with rules, restart the following day 6am and replace bad ads that continue to pause out 3 days in a row with new ads 4. You'll quickly see which is working best - double down on the bid option that's working - if none of them are then your audience isn't ready for this, rinse and repeat a tweak of the audience Let me know how it goes!

05.01.2022 food for thought about streaming... my current view is I want the streamers... as a contact point to move over into my email sales system... ... some stream... some support via live shows... some buy merch... out of every 10,000 people who are engaging with my music/brand they all have different habits for spending $... I actually feel quite blessed that I can reach more people by offering my music via streaming... almost free to the punters... its then up to me to convert into $... & I am OK with that... suggest every other musician out there... get with the program & be OK with that also... don't shoot the messenger :)
