25.01.2022 Hi there, I hope you are well and safe. It’s with a heavy heart that I write this email However, it is one of the most important emails that I have written. PLEASE READ ON ... About 2 weeks ago I connected with a builder out of Melbourne X ( protecting his name ) He was pleasant enough and was turning over around the $2MM mark. He spoke to me about how things have gotten tough due to the lockdown and that a lot of the work was postponed. He then went on to share that he had a marriage breakdown and that there was money owing to him in a legal case. A week later we reconnected and went through our strategy session and he absolutely loved it! There were a few words however that caused my ears to prick up, He said Nick I was thinking about killing myself Immediately I asked if he is OK and if he is looking for help to which he answered YES. He then went on to say that with our help he felt that he could get through this slump and that he believed in us and the future The following week we met again and he said yep I want to go ahead with coaching and let's get to work Another alarm bell went off when he said You are my savior I assured him that I WAS NOT and that he had what he needed inside him, to believe in himself and that we ( Up coach ) are here to support him every step of the way. The following day an agreement was issued and his first session booked. A few days later we followed him up but he was busy. Then one of my team reached out and he shared that he wanted to get his solicitor to look over the agreement but he was really pumped to join us. On Friday last week I reached out again and the call went to voicemail. Yesterday I get this email response.... X took his life this morning - send no further emails I have to say this was a shock and a half. I mean how do you react to something like this? Suicide is a massive problem today in Australia. People are ending their lives needlessly, and even though there is help out there, It feels like it sometimes is too late. So PLEASE If you are feeling in a low state, and have thoughts of ending your life... PLEASE reach out to professionals that can help you. PLEASE reach out to me if you want to talk or just need someone there. I AM NOT A COUNSELLOR. However, I do have 2 ears and maybe that's all you need. PLEASE pass this on to someone you might know that is suffering from this illness. In sadness.

I have 2 male educated, was emp...loyed 20+ years friends in Mental hospital ward. Sill there, Given up on life. I have a 43 year old, educated, was employed lady friend made redundant on the spot after several years. Now is homeless and living in her car. She tells me very little to no social housing or emergency housing available. WHY?? Past from institution to the next one with no help?
