Simo has been working in all things digital for the last 13 years and heads up full service digital agency called Straight Out Digital. Over the years Simo has worked with some of Australia's biggest brands and has helped them achieve their digital goals, whether that be selling more products, building brand awareness or even building active online communities. Heck..., his agency designed and built the Happy Spaces website. Simo believes in always putting the customer first, it's an obvious thing to do but is so often forgotten about by brands. 23.01.2022 WHAT ARE WE MADE OF? One of the key focuses of our Torquay space has been to continue to evolve our sustainability practises. Every space becoming more sustainable as we learn more and are inspired by our community. There is no doubt, it takes more time and costs more to source materials that are more regenerative. But what we discovered through the process, was that searching out and discussing these materials was enjoyable, educational and empowering. ... Take this this carpet for example, it's 78% recycled, 13% of which comes from reused fishing wire. And... it looks tip bloody top, especially against our repurposed and recycled tables. The more we back these types of materials, the more readily available and cost effective they become. 17.01.2022 GOODBYE & THANKS HAMPTON Our first community coworking space comes to a close, nearly four years on. The end of our beginning. The seed of Happy Spaces. Amazing things happen in small spaces and we’ve been so in awe of all the connections, collaborations, friendships and stories that this space has given us.... It’s been a life changing journey. Thank you to everyone who shared time with us in the space; members, collaborators, family, friends and guests. Our Black Rock and Torquay spaces wouldn’t exist without everything we learnt here at Hampton. Now, most of our materials, furniture and equipment from the space are being repurposed finding new homes in our other spaces and continuing the Hampton connection.
