06.01.2022 Last Friday 26th March, the Victorian Govt further relaxed CovidSafe requirements. Go to our website for the updated requirements for rallies and competitions. Briefly: 1. The density quotient for indoor and outdoor venues and enclosed spaces such as offices has been reduced to 1 person per 2sqm. 2. There are no participation limits or limits on class sizes for outdoor and indoor equestrian activities as long as density quotients are observed. 3. All venues must use the fr...ee Victorian Government QR Service or Victorian Government Application Programming Interface linked digital system for record keeping (venues will have a 28-day compliance amnesty to 23 April 2021) The requirements previously advised for masks, social distancing and hygiene remain in place. It's great to be out and about again with our horses. Follow the CovidSafe requirements to help protect our freedom.

01.01.2022 What a great idea!

01.01.2022 It's great to see HRCAV horses enjoying their life after racing. Big Baz, ridden by Deb Tunbridge from Woodlands ARC, was the best performed thoroughbred in the recent online Dressage competition hosted by the South Eastern Equestrian Association. Baz raced under the name of 'Wild Bill' - not the best name for a new career in Dressage. Following his retirement from racing he spent time on the show jumping circuit and was then purchased by LBR Equestrian in 2018. He is fairly... new to the sand dancing caper and suffered a set back after injuring himself in the paddock last year. It was touch and go but he made a return to work in March and the online comp was a great way to step back into competition. Deb says Baz is the paddock clown and loves to play with anything he can find, especially witches hats! Baz and paddock mate Casper enjoy nothing more than a witches hats game of tug of war. Good boy Baz!
