17.01.2022 We continually get calls from potential clients who have called in a electrician first and pay there service call only to be told they need a refrigeration and air-conditioning licensed technician. This is great but the potential client then does not want to pay for the refrigeration and air-conditioning licensed technician, they then want us to attend and diagnose fault for free. 99% of all problems related to a Air-conditioning /refrigeration are not power supply problems you need to call the appropiate trade first.

14.01.2022 When purchasing a property that has fixtures that have warranty always make sure you obtain proof of purchase of particular item. Most properties have Air-Conditioning and these systems will have a 5 year manufacturers warranty but if you can not supply proof of purchase even when system is in warranty period that item will not be covered and you will have to pay for repairs. It is also a good idea to have a clearance certificate done on Air-Conditioners before purchasing property. It is also a good idea to have Air-Conditioners checked before you rent a commercial property.

Its a good idea to research how clients with faulty aircons are treated and how long it takes to get repaired. What happens when that warranty runs out well usually you can call a service company such as ours and we can have a look at your problem aircon and fault find with the aid of tech support by manuals for aircon or phone support. What we are finding now is certain... manufacturers will not give tech support unless you are a authorised service centre, which is great for the authorised service centre, on the other hand the owner of the faulty product is locked in to one company with no competition for there work. So you are at there mercy. I just spoke with a client who tried to use one of the authorised companies and they told me they were told what time they had to be at home for them to come out and would have to pay a high call out and hourly rate.
