24.01.2022 Time to post our first sale heifer for this year. Our goal at HS Angus is to raise cows that consistently produce marketable well made calves. HSA Nikki 11H is one we feel fits that mold very well. Being out of one of the breeds all time best maternal sires in SAV 004 Density 4336 and out of our "never-miss" 5Z cow (who goes back to Freedom 104, LRT, And 8005). 5Z has calved in the first cycle her whole life and has had all heifer calves. Every daughter of 5Z has been retained so we felt we could let 11H go. She is a very balanced heifer with great feet and nice teat spacing. We feel that she has the ability to be a productive long lasting cow in anyone's herd. Sells December 17th at Form and Function in Lloydminster. 16.01.2022 To say 2020 has been "different" would be an understatement. Although things started getting different here in January when our purebreds decided we should have 80% heifer calves this year. It has left us in a position where we really couldn't keep all the heifers that were good enough to stay home so we decided to let these 3 very good heifers go to sales this fall. Stay tuned for more updates on these ladies in the weeks to come

As well as extend a HUGE thank you to our customers, both purebred and commercial, whose support allows us to continue doing what we love! 05.01.2022 2 calvings, 3 calves and calving 21 is off to a very quick start

01.01.2022 Our final sale heifer to be featured is one that really has me excited. On paper she may be as UNIQUE of an opportunity as any heifer calf to sell in Canada this fall. She is the only daughter in Canada off LT Driven in 2020. She is also the first daughter of LT Driven to sell in a consignment sale in Canada and given limited canadian semen supplies could very well be the last as well. The driven daughters have been called some of the nicest cows at Lindskov-Theil ranch by ma...ny that have seen them. She is the only driven daughter we have had to date and with how much we have liked her brothers it was a tremendously difficult decision to let her go. In the flesh she is everything we strive to produce here; deep thick and stout on a medium frame with an excellent set of feet and legs underneath her. This girl really is the ranchers kind! Her mother out of the stories blackbird cow family has been an excellent cow for us to date with 2 daughters already in herd. She sells at The masterpiece on December 22nd in Saskatoon. 01.01.2022 Our second heifer to be heading to town is HSA Penny 14H. With calves like this girl its easy to see how stunner got his name. Long spined, nice fronted, deep bodied and as hairy as they get! The dam of this heifer is one of my absolute favorites on the farm. She is a cow that raises a top end calf every year and does it with a very solid foot and udder. This girl sells December 17th at Form and Function in Lloydminster.
