16.01.2022 Good Morning Folks, As Im sure you are aware, as of today, all guests must now sign in ELECTRONICALLY to all cafes, restaurants, pubs & clubs across QLD. We get that it isn't new, but we've been managing just fine with the pen & paper concept as it works for all guest ages. So the new process, on arrival, a team member will introduce you to our laminated QR codes, all you need is your personal mobile phone and you simply take a picture and complete the basic form- sign in on ...arrival and sign out on departure. We hope to make it feel more like signing in as a guest, over anything else. Thanks in advance for your understanding. 09.01.2022 This may not look like a very impressive flower, but the story behind it is. Earlier this year, some dear friends were cleaning up their late fathers garden and wanted to pull this plant out of the orange tree it was originally growing in. Ofcourse, HSG is often a host garden for many plants and we gratefully accepted it. We’ve created a dedicated space for it as a memorial for an amazing man and we can now share that this Vanilla Orchid is Loving it’s new lease on life and we hand pollinated the first flower today. Certainly a first for Dion and Poppy Paul, but here’s to learning new skills and remembering amazing people along our journey. And a massive thank you to Melissa Baker for her knowledge. #hsggardens

04.01.2022 On your next visit to see us, did you realise that we have this huge carpark available for you from the Gorlicks Road Entrance? Especially at night, this is lit up with flood lights. We also have 2 dedicated all access parks for those needing them and we often get asked, but we are virtually step free for guests. We only really have 2 on site- 1 into the ladies bathroom, though we have a dedicated all access bathroom and the second step is between the top & bottom terrace, however we have 2 entrances to both terraces, so we've got you covered there too. In essence, HSG has been designed to cover access for most folks and we look forward to your visit.
