24.01.2022 Important! Please read.
24.01.2022 The original correspondence was.... interesting.
21.01.2022 Thank you to the administrative workers in our Hospitals for keeping our health system running!
21.01.2022 We won! The public sector pay cut has been blocked in parliament. This decision paves the way for a $3 billion injection into the NSW economy (creating up ...to 4,000 new jobs) and a well deserved pay rise for nurses, cleaners, firefighters, teachers, police and many more! A win-win for working people! This wouldn't have been possible without the thousands of supporters who joined our campaign against this pay cut. Thank you to Labor and the crossbench parties for listening and voting against this pay cut. If Gladys Berejiklian tries to take this to the courts, we will fight every step of the way!
19.01.2022 It is possible.
15.01.2022 The NSW Government have known for months that a public service pay freeze will deepen a recession, yet Treasurer Perrottet and Premier Berejiklian have chosen t...o ignore solid economic advice at the cost of workers and their communities. Do we really need to ask why, when it is now so abundantly clear that a pay freeze is what they have wanted all along? While we’ve been battling fires, floods and a global pandemic, the Government has seen all these devastating events as an opportunity. Really let that sink in. Like every other worker in the state, we have bills to pay and mouths to feed. Housing, heating for winter, school uniforms and the overall cost of living aren’t getting any cheaper. The Government and their big city bankers see workers as dollar signs, not human beings trying to make ends meet while balancing work and time with our families. They see communities as abstract concepts in their portfolios, not groups of people wanting to support each other. They don’t know our local bakers, our local baristas, our local early childhood educators, our local mechanics. We do. And this is why a pay freeze and the wages policy hurts not only those directly affected, but our friends and neighbours. As we’ve said before, 2.5% is not and has never been an adequate pay rise, nor will it be a win if we are so lucky to receive it this year. Our work and our communities deserve to be valued.
13.01.2022 Our thoughts are with our Central West police colleagues on this difficult day.
12.01.2022 This man is a true gentleman. I speak from personal, professional experience. An amazing achievement by a caring individual.
12.01.2022 Here is an updated visual representation that shows how much paramedics across the country are valued by their Governments. NSW paramedics remain the lowest pai...d in the country. While the wages policy is in place, we will remain the lowest paid in the country. This is why we are fighting to abolish the policy. The NSW Government should be embarrassed by this graph, but instead they have doubled-down and tried to freeze our wages this year. We see loud and clear how much you value us, Ms. Berejiklian. 2.5% is not a pay rise, nor is it a win when our skills and expertise are already worth so much more than that. No pay rise that is awarded within the confines of the wages policy will be a win, as the threat of stripping our penalties and entitlements to fund it is always imminent. We can think of a few vanity projects underway in NSW with costs that could have been better spent, can you? We work just as hard as any other paramedic in the country. We are professionals who deserve professional wages. We hope the Government is ready for one hell of a fight, because ADHSU members won’t stop until the policy is gone and we are valued the way we should be.
11.01.2022 The Wages Policy has stopped the fair and genuine negotiation of health worker's wages and conditions since 2008. For context, in 2008 Katy Perry topped the charts.
09.01.2022 The wages freeze. The wages policy. SHARE to say it's unfair.

08.01.2022 97% of ADHSU Paramedics who responded to a survey elected to stand and fight for fair pay and conditions. So that's what is happening. Liquid chalk has started ...and is spreading across the state. It's time NSW Public Servants are allowed to freely bargain like other workers in NSW. Time to rip up the wages policy. Don't forget to send pictures of your chalked up vehicles to [email protected]. Just like death and disability, if we stand together we can win this too. #valueourservice
08.01.2022 Yet again, health workers are on the front lines, risking their own safety to keep the rest of us safe. That's why we need to make sure all health workers have ...access to appropriate PPE. If you are a concerned HSU member, don't wait - get in touch straight away. Your safety is too important to gamble on. See more
06.01.2022 Thinking of our valued brothers and sisters in blue.
05.01.2022 This is how you thank an essential workforce? We are beyond frustrated with this governments treatment of its workers.
04.01.2022 The premier is backing her treasurer in and cutting the real pay of NSW's public servants while at the same time paying her executives massive pay rises. We've... had fires, floods, and now corona and the thanks we get is a real pay cut. The last time the government attacked us we fought back and won using liquid chalk. Should we start chalking again? Should we fight back? We're interested in the views of the public, who supported us during our fight for paramedic protections, and of course, ADHSU paramedics, who will once again be asked to decorate ambulances. Tell us what you think, or like and share to show support.
