06.01.2022 A special thanks to Greg and Alan, on a return trip from the North West they came across a couple in trouble after loosing some wheel nuts and studs, and wheel that had ended up in the bush. The two drivers stopped and assisted them to get them up and moving again into a safe location. The below is the text message that Greg and Allan received the day after they helped them; "Just wanted to say a massive thanks. We were back in carnarvon by midnight with ute and boat securel...y stored. I told roger to look at the bright side and the ute didn’t use any fuel for 200km of the journey car now at Toyota we are taking boat to exmouth with my car and will return tonight to carnarvon and pick up trailer! We would not be in such a great position had it not been for you guys hope to see you up there one day Mandy and Roger" A great news story and a special thanks to Greg and Allan for offering some assistance.

05.01.2022 This year my mum was taken too soon due to Cancer. Our life will never be the same... My mum always thought of others... through her whole journey in life.. it was putting others before her and helping in any way to help someone.... even on the big "C" journey... mum wanted to help others... Mum loved being outside... loved the outdoors, sun and gardens. Mum was unable to sit in a normal wheelchair so getting outside wasnt easy, the lovely Palliative team worked on finding u...s a specialised chair that tilts back and has more ability than the regular ones. We had to wait a few days - which meant we couldnt get mum out on those days. We will never forget the look on her face to be outside and how much it meant to her. Something so very small to most, but very large to mum and my family... So for mum, we would like to raise money to purchase another for the Bunbury Palliative Ward, for other patients to get outside and enjoy the sun, gardens and fresh air.
