19.01.2022 What you constantly think over and over is eventually what comes to pass. The mind has such powers that are beyond human understanding at times, but according to the author of the Power of Positive Thinking, Dr. Norman Vincent Peale, You are what you are now based on your thoughts five years ago and will be in five years what you constantly think of yourself now. Our thoughts are very important, but without taking the steps to act on the positive ones they can end up being a waste. Like with any journey in life, you will have times when you may want to give up, lose faith or focus and consequently get off the path to success. You have to literally tune your thinking to be positive to help overcome the doubts and fears as you go about accomplishing your goals. You got this!

07.01.2022 Breakfast is claimed as the most important meal of the day because it sets you up with the nourishment you need to get the most out of your day! To make sure you’re starting your days off just right, here are four healthy foods you should have in high rotation on your breakfast plan. Flaxseeds - (linseeds), are great for digestion, can relieve constipation, and have shown to lower cholesterol and the risk of heart disease. Two tablespoons a day can also reduce excess oestrog...en levels, helping with PMS, fluid retention and hormonal regulation. Sprinkle them on porridge, muesli or eggs, or whisk into pancakes and omelettes. Mushrooms are another of the one of the best things you can add to your morning meal, because they provide texture and volume without increasing your fat intake and are great sources of fibre, selenium and B vitamins. Yoghurt (without sugar or flavour) should also be part of your brekky routine because it’s a great source of calcium and protein, which is important for energy and mood, and leaves you feeling full. If you need a dairy alternative - coconut, almond and cashew milk yoghurts are full of good fats and bacteria to improve your gut health and keep your immune system strong. Finally spinach is another winner for a range of reasons, including that it is high in dietary nitrates which is very important for healthy blood pressure and cardiovascular system. Spinach is also a great source of fibre, vitamin K, iron and calcium. Aim for a few cups added into smoothies and frittatas or alongside eggs.
