25.01.2022 These are the hops that had wind damage earlier in the season. They’ve bounced back so looking forward to getting these into the fresh hop ale at Burra Brewing !
25.01.2022 It’s been a not ideal growing season here this year , unusually strong winds early damaged some of the juvenile tips on some of the bines. We’ve struggled to get a soil temperature above 17 deg due to cool spring and early summer. But we remain positive and am sure we’ll get a decent crop that will make some great beer !
24.01.2022 So I was down at Burra Brewing today and Phill was kind enough to give me a sample of our fresh hop beer. It’s only early days but it was rather tasty , and will only improve over the next few weeks. In the meantime Phill@BurraBrewing can take your orders for takeaway gourmet pizzas and beers. 23.01.2022 Big day today finishing off stringing for season 3 ! Cascade coming along nicely . This year if the weather plays nice we should have our best yield .

18.01.2022 First pour . It has a nice subtle hop aroma and flavour. Not very bitter, really smooth. Overall definitely worth a try if you’re in the neighbourhood. Burra Brewing has it on tap now . Growlers and squealer takeaway
17.01.2022 Very exciting day ! Just kegged our first beer. SMASH Single Malt And Single Hop . Pale Ale using our fresh Chinook Hops . Tastes not too bad . Cheers !

05.01.2022 Well after some time in the tank. Our Fresh Hop Harvest Ale with Burra Brewing was kegged today. I should have some here soon. This pic is the first keg being filled.

04.01.2022 I’d just like to thank everyone for liking our page. It’s early days but I thought we should have a page for the hop farm so people could find it. For one reason or another you are here and I thank you for that. First things first we have our upcoming beer with Burra Brewing. I ask you if it’s possible to please try it and let me know honestly what you think . Good or bad that’s no problem. I’d just like honest feedback ! Soon we’ll brew some fresh hop beers here and we’ll see where we go from there. Cheers
