25.01.2022 "A twinkle in the eye, a night at the Colley and a ride home in the Pontiac sealed the deal." All the way from Gisborne NZ, Kate & Blake came to Port Douglas for one heck of a party. With agriculture in their blood, there was cattletalk abound and the little seaside town received the full force of the energy that is "Country NZ". When I met up the couple initially I made the mistake of misreading a very hungover Blake as shy and quiet, so when the day arrived what I encounte...red was excitement and fun with a capital F. For a day filled with many magic moments my favorite would be finding out that the lady officiating the ceremony is none other than Blakes grandmother. 22.01.2022 When Charlie called and asked if we wanted to spend a day riding around on dirt bikes and filming some insane footage, we couldnt refuse. Aiming to give a small slice of what Moto Odyssey Australia offers, we travelled to some iconic areas around the Mossman/Daintree area to show off some of the best riding you can have in FNQ. Also very cool of Slightly Stoopid to let us use their song "Closer to the Sun" in the video!

17.01.2022 10 years after meeting each other in highschool; Heidi & Scott said "I do" to each other in the beautiful Magnetic Island. Filled with fun, laughter, wallaby encounters too many beaches to count; it felt like we could hang with these two for hours on end - as their infectious attitude and laughter set the scene for an unforgettable day. We even managed to sneak off with the couple and shared a cheese platter looking out onto the ocean as twilight rolled in. Which would of bee...n much more romantic if we werent laughing at myself and Jason (The Raw Photographer) stumbling over the rocks. 16.01.2022 For those that know Nadine, shes a VERY talented photographer. In fact, I shot some of my very first weddings working alongside her (I also remember loosing out on a helicopter ride at one. :D). So I felt so honoured when she asked me to film her very own wedding. In the months that followed we shot more weddings together and I learnt more about her and Simons (AKA Red) story. About how shes the 4 in 1 package with her three young sons and how Red came into their life at ...just the moment, and how their meeting allowed them to rebuild their lives together. Apologies for our radio silence, we've been working hard behind the scenes with our clients and couples to help them during this time. Gotta give a shout our to all our couples that are working with us to help reschedule their day, It’s been madness but you've all been incredibly supportive. ... It's hard to stay to positive amidst everything at the moment, especially as we see friends of ours effected by the impacts of COVID-19. But now is the time to be kind, be understanding and support each other. We're all in this together. We've been chatting with some of our friends, spit balling some ideas which we hope to announce to you soon. Might as well try a few things at this point? 07.01.2022 So yesterday was pretty freakin epic! Jess & Aaron wanted a snowy backdrop for their wedding in Wanaka NZ, and they certainly got one with a freak snowstorm the day before! Despite the airport closing, and guests only narrowly making it to Wanaka - the weather turned out for their wedding day. And what a day it was. Such a great day and such a fantastic couple, Id go travelling in helicopters to mountains with them anytime! Cant wait to edit this one.

04.01.2022 Ive been so excited to share this one. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, Jess & Aaron travelled all the way from Townsville to get married in beautiful Wanaka New Zealand. While their wedding was small and intimate; there was big love to share all around. The atmosphere was electric and I can honestly say I have never seen so many smiling faces! Despite a freak snowstorm, Myself and Carly (their very talented photographer), kicked off the festivities the day be...fore the wedding, where we had the privilege of spending time with both Jess & Aaron, a few snowballs and some very cute Llamas! The Wedding day followed, and it did not disappoint! NZ put on a show for us with beautiful clear skies, stunning snow-capped mountains and a ceremony location to die for. This was all complimented by an adventure in a helicopter to visit Roys Peak its not every day you get to video a couple on a glacier! However, despite all of the beauty, adventure and incredible vendors on the day, the most amazing aspect of this wedding was witnessing how madly in love Jess & Aaron are. 04.01.2022 Arriving at "Dropped Anchor", Nelsons parents beautiful property in Ravenshoe; Felicity & Nelson were actually already married. After a small intimate ceremony earlier in the week with their closest family and friends they wanted nothing more than to have the biggest party of their lives in their favorite place, with their favorite people. Where-ever these two are; fun is sure to abound. No stuffy tradition here, drinks flowed, the famous ham was cut, the white outfits shin...ed in the sun and dancing the night away in the rain - it was a sea of happy joyous people. Heres something a little different, our team has been hard at work the past 12 months producing, shooting and editing a short film directed by our friend (and award winning filmmaker) S.F. Tusa. And Its finished! To celebrate were having a local screening of the film before we submit to festivals around the world. We would love it if you could be there. Its on tomorrow night (20/06) at 14 Florence Street. Doors open at 6:00pm, tickets are $10 which includes the screening and the Q&A afterwards.

Earlier this year we partnered with Visual1 to produce and create a digital marketing campaign for the Queensland Government to raise awareness and promote success stories of people who suffer from Rheumatic Heart Disease. We met and heard some amazing stories from people all over Queensland. It was so inspiring to hear how these brave people are able to live healthy happy lives in spite of their diagnosis.... 20 Interviews, 8 Different Locations and 7 stories to share with the world. This couldnt have been put together without Laurette from RHD Queensland, the health clinicians from around Queensland and of course the amazing people that shared their stories. 01.01.2022 We say enough about how great Project Booyah Cairns is. It gives at risk and disengaged youth a second chance to succeed in life. In the second half of last year we documented a group of girls throughout their journey in the program and were so stoked to see them graduate as well. And heres the finished clip! Its short, its sweet but most of all it highlights the fantastic work Bridget and all of her team past and present have put in the program. Its been an honour to be a small part of their story.
