When we throw anything away it must go somewhere - Annie Leonard It feels good to know that every bag of powder we send out is 100% compostable and plastic free. Made from recycled paper with a corn starch lining and a tin tie, our bags disappear without a trace.

22.01.2022 Something we are so proud of is how much value we provide to our community but specifically, how many washes some of you get per bag. We list our 2kg bag as giving 80 - 160 washes per bag but you can easily get more than that! One women had a 2kg bag last her 2 years..no idea how she did it but she did! More recently however and probably realistically one of our customers told us she got 170 loads from her 2kg bag and was still going! It makes us extremely happy because our focus has always been to give maximum value for minimum cost. How long does your 2kg bag last you?

Our products are almost 40 Years old now so they’ve been put through their paces, they leave your clothes smelling clean and fresh and remove almost any stain you can throw at them. We use the least amount of plastic possible and we’re working on using even less. We have no nasty toxic chemicals in our products and they don’t harm the environment.

It’s the shock factor of using Hudstone, 80 loads for a top loader and 160 for a front but that’s just standard loads, you can get more if you try. 07.01.2022 Every day around 8 million pieces of plastic makes it’s way into our oceans . It’s shown that collectively humans have produced 7.8 BILLION tonnes of plastic, which is more than 1 tonne of plastic for every person alive. This is a scary statistic and one we have worked hard to make sure we aren’t a part of, we aren’t perfect yet, although we have eliminated 95% of plastic from our product packaging there is still a little way to go! Our laundry powder bags are made from recycled paper and lined with a corn based biofilm with a tin tie seal. After use our packaging quite literally disappears without a trace!

06.01.2022 These are my teenage sons basketball socks which he somehow gets very dirty they were soaked in Hudstone soaker and then washed with the Hudstone regular laundry powder. What you probably don’t know is that our packaging will start the process of dissolving once it comes in contact with water. To avoid this happening, we recommend transferring your powders into glass or tin jars!
