This project is progressing really well but like with all things development out here, you have to keep your eye out for roadblocks at every turn. This is a casual event, NO formalities. A place where people can express concerns or provide insight and ideas to our councillors for your industry, business and/or community. ... Whilst the event is informal the Chamber of Commerce does not encourage or support any defamatory or negative behaviour or attitudes. This is a good time to have a chat and work together for stronger community. The Chamber of Commerce will be taking down your comments and concerns and collate for distribution to councillors after the catch up. 06.01.2022 Thank you to those who attended yesterday’s meeting or contacted the Chamber of Commerce with your comments. A big thank you to Cr. Flute, Cr. Carter and Cr. Mitchell. We understand it was short notice and a little unconventional but we feel that everyone’s concerns and comments were heard and appreciated by all three of you. We appreciate the passion you show towards your community and your genuine desire to assist with the comments raised yesterday. The maturity and respec...tful way in which issues were raised and discussed yesterday is a credit to all that attended. It was very rewarding to see so many of you come along, there is great power in a community that works together. There were a few ideas discussed yesterday and we will publish those comments and concerns this coming week. Thank you very much to our State MP, Robbie Katter for stopping in and catching up with everyone before heading to Cameron Downs.
