I am so glad Brett Wilkie (CEO BQ) is trying to encourage these games out in the country. summer Comps are coming to an end Queensland Premier League and the Queensland 7's commenced with 240 teams from 90 clubs competing across South East Queensland semi finals and finals held on the 4th 5th of April.

01.01.2022 Morning All, I draw your attention to page 6 of this months Queensland Bowler. CALL FOR ACCREDITION OF COACHES AND UMPIRES. Do you love coaching? BQ NEEDS accredited coaches and umpires so contact your District to see how you can become an accredited coach or umpire. I guess it is a call to arms, without coaches and umpires in our clubs we eventually put ourselves in that position where growth becomes hard. I believe all clubs should have at least 1 accredited coach and umpire. I myself with the shop, I want to do both so I can help the clubs, with club championships started how many clubs started there games with an umpire sitting the side there to help the inexperienced markers? How many have a coach to help at barefoot bowls, to attract schools to their clubs? It is a new year, new season lets all have a good one. Great Bowling all.
