Construite en 1870, la petite église Saint-Vigor, haute en couleur, doit son allure actuelle à l'abbéPaysant. Nommé curé en 1873, alors que la construction de l'église n'est pas encore terminée, il en change la destinée. Sa volonté : expliquer la religion catholique par l'image. 08.01.2022 This unique church in Normandy's countryside was first decorated by priest Victor Paysant in 1873 who wanted to create ‘a living, speaking church’. The paintings were erased in the 1920s upon his death and only recreated between 2004 and 2006 by my brother and me. A must see if you're visiting Normandy!
