20.01.2022 LEST WE FORGET - ANIMALS TOO Probably the most famous dog and certainly the most decorated of the First World War was United States Army dog Sergeant Stubby. He was the official mascot of the 102nd Infantry Regiment. During his 18 months of service, he took part in 17 battles on the Western Front. His feats included finding and comforting wounded soldiers, catching and holding a German soldier by the seat of his pants and saving his regiment from a surprise mustard gas attack. He made front page news of every major newspaper and met three US presidents.

12.01.2022 Our beautiful Lola delivered 6 Speagle puppies last night by Cesarean after a fetal mass blocked the traffic. She spent the night in hospital with her babies and has the all clear to come home this morning. 4 tan boys, 1 black and white girl and 1 black and white boy. A huge thank you to Stacey Rae Monto Veterinary Clinic for your response to our late night call and for staying with Lola and the babies through the night. You have done an amazing job and a job that is sometime...s thankless. Rhiana Mason thank you for responding to my call, for driving us to Monto and vet nursing for Stacey. Secretly I think you were in your element. Thank you Demi Robinson for responding to the midnight call to be extra hands to get the puppies breathing and warm. Thank you Noela King for being wonderful advise at the other end of the phone. I am very grateful to all. This will be the last Lola Benson cross as I decided to have Lola Spayed to ensure she doesn't experience that again. If you are on the waiting list for a puppy and I haven't contacted you please give me a little time. I will contact you after the first 6 have received their offers. If there is any availability after those offers are made you will be contacted in order of waiting list.
