25.01.2022 As walking the dog is out of the question for a little here's a few other ways you can entertain your pup in the home. The best part of the walk for a dog is usually sniffing; so games that get their sniffers working are one good alternative. *I'll also be doing a '6 Day Lockdown Challenge' of little trick tutorials and games if anyone is looking for other ideas.

21.01.2022 Teenage dogs can be challenging for their guardians, as hormones make it difficult for pups to access previously taught information. This can appear as behaviours that seem to regress, reactivity and general 'unruliness'. Some great simple tips here on how to manage a teenage dog and help them come out the other side as a well rounded adult. Often it involves taking a step(s) back in training and being very forgiving of yourself and your dog!

20.01.2022 Little dogs are often demonized for being particularly feisty. The way they develop these behaviours is just the same as bigger dogs; we just don't take their threats as serious due to their size. Often they have little choice and get provoked into defending themselves. Please take your little dog seriously; aggressive behaviour is usually fear based, the dog isn't sassy it's uncomfortable. Try to help them out to be comfortable, safe and free to make choices.

18.01.2022 6 Day Lockdown Challenge I am going to do my best to share a couple of videos a day; one on a trick and one on a game; just some a bit of fun to inspire you to engage with your pup(s) that are easy to do inside. Please feel free to join in and share your training!... I am having some issues with both editing software crashing and uploading my videos to facebook but hopefully I can sort those kinks out.

01.01.2022 A humble reminder of the small things we can do to enrich our dogs lives by paying attention to the little things they enjoy; like a snuggle on the couch. Eileen's content is always so lovely to read.
