22.01.2022 It looks as though our friends over at Reignite Democracy Australia may have had their main page shut down due to the new law around news being posted on Facebook. We consider this a great loss to the Facebook community, as we have followed their work for while now, have developed a relationship with Monica and have much respect for what she is doing to preserve our democratic rights in what once was a free state where human rights were paramount. We ALL know that is not ...the case anymore. No matter what our government tries to say. HRA are huge believers in freedom and choice. We are completely against lockdowns and any of the recent mandates we have seen imposed in many Australian states. Which is why we urge ALL of our supporters to please sign this protest petition put together by Monica at Reignite Democracy https://www.reignitedemocracyaustralia.com.au/protest-survey Now that Facebook has closed down Reignite Democracy's page, the best way to stay informed and updated is by signing up to their mailing list. https://www.reignitedemocracyaustralia.com.au/ and tune in through Telegram RDA for posts and updates https://t.me/reignitedemocracyaustralia Sending huge love to Monica and her team. We salute them & send huge thanks to her for being so courageous, leading the movement to change with her fighting spirit! HRA Team See more

18.01.2022 HUME & ISER MITRE 10! The Australian retail and trade hardware store in Bendigo have made some positive changes, to allow for exempt customers through their doors. Our client has since returned and had a wonderful shopping experience. Moving forward, this store will:... Welcome exempt customers, without requesting medical certificates. Offer exempt lanyards as optional, rather than mandatory. Change their sign/poster on their notice boards, at the point of entry into the store, to include exemptions. THANK YOU HUME & ISER MITRE 10, BENDIGO If you have felt discriminated against or seen signage that is not in accordance with the Government guidelines for not wearing masks, please go to our website www.humanrightsadvocates.com.au and lodge a formal complaint. 18.01.2022 We had a successful outcome for a client today after she was refused entry to Party Express, Plenty Valley. After contacting the owner of the store, she made the following statement:... "We are incredibly sorry for this blunder! As a business we are ashamed. We apologise deeply to the customer and any stress we may have caused in the process. I’ll make sure to properly educate my employees on the proper regulations for the masks so that this problem doesn’t happen again." This is a commendable resolution from Party Express and we encourage everyone to show them support if you're in the area. If you have felt discriminated against or seen signage that is not in accordance with the Government guidelines for not wearing masks, please go to our website www.humanrightsadvocates.com.au and lodge a formal complaint.

14.01.2022 We had another fantastic outcome for a client today. They were refused entry and service for being medically exempt from wearing a mask at LUSH, Highpoint. After contacting LUSH Customer Care they responded promptly with a commendable resolution and confirmed that exempt customers are welcome in their stores. ... HRA emphasised to LUSH that we want to work together on this to look after the vulnerable members of the community, as we should all unite and stand together during this awful time. If you have felt discriminated against or seen signage that is not in accordance with the Government guidelines for not wearing masks, please go to our website www.humanrightsadvocates.com.au and lodge a formal complaint.

13.01.2022 We had a formal complaint made against Centre Com Richmond for refusing entry to a customer who was exempt from wearing a mask. After contacting Centre Com, they explained that they did this to protect their customers and didn't want to get in trouble with DHHS. By the end of our discussion, Centre Com apologised and have agreed to allow exempt customers into their store. ... 11.01.2022 Well well well...we saw it coming! The WHOLE of Victoria is in stage 4 lockdown AGAIN for 5 days, Dan says. What a total shock! Vaccinations are just about to be rolled out and the SOE needs extending, so a lockdown should help those things along nicely, right? ... We understand there must be so many people feeling fraught with feelings of anxiety right now. We want you to know, we are with you. We completely get how you are feeling because we feel the same things too. Now let us be clear (see what we did there) on the restrictions, as Dan says, there are only 4 reasons to leave the house for these 5 days. BUT if you are feeling like you need mental health support and need to see your friends or family to help you during this time, then you can claim compassionate or caregiving under the lockdown "rules". That means you can legitimately go and see your friends and family if you are struggling mentally based on compassionate reasons. If you are stopped by police the reason you give them for being out of the home is compassionate grounds. If they fine you, dispute it based on compassionate grounds. For example, only 2 hours is allowed for exercise out of the home with household members. However, if you feel as though you need to exercise or see a friend (who does not live with you) because you are struggling emotionally, then you have grounds to see them or exercise based on compassionate grounds. If your elderly parents live outside your 5km radius from your home, you can legitimately claim caregiving for them as a reason to be out of the permitted area and out of your home. You could also use compassionate grounds for going to see a friend outside your 5km zone, to support you emotionally. We urge you to take care of yourself during this time. We all know Dan's track record when it comes to promising us one thing and then delivering another. We have no guarantee this will end Thursday. So be kind to yourself. Use the exemptions we have just given you, under the directions, to help you cope. Oh and we almost forgot, MASKS back on EVERYWHERE now UNLESS you are exempt! Remember you DO NOT NEED medical documentation to "prove"you have a reason for not wearing a mask if a store or police officer stops you. If you are fined, dispute the fine. You may have to prove to the court (if it got that far, which is unlikely) you are medically exempt though. However, as we now know from our last experiences in Victoria, the fines will most likely be dropped Hugs, Team HRA See comments for the official list of restrictions with the compassionate & givegiving grounds listed from the Department of Premier & Cabinet (Dan's mates)

11.01.2022 One of HRA's highest core values is freedom. Freedom means CHOICE. Mandatory vaccines are not a CHOICE. March tomorrow to show you are AGAINST mandatory vaccines. March for your children. March for all of our futures. Here are some important questions and answers before considering getting vaccinated: ... "If I get vaccinated will circuit-breaker/snap/prolonged & inhumane lockdowns STOP? Government: "NO" "If I get vaccinated will my children stop being locked down & being made to stay home from school?" Government: "NO" "If I get vaccinated can I stop wearing a mask(s)?" Government: "NO" "If I get vaccinated will the restaurants, bars, schools, fitness clubs, hairdressers, etc. reopen and will people be able to get back to work like normal? Government: "NO" "If I get vaccinated will I be resistant to Covid?" Government: "Maybe. We don't know exactly, but probably not." "If I get vaccinated, at least I won't be contagious to others - right?" Government: "NO. the vaccine doesn’t stop transmission." "If I get vaccinated, how long will the vaccine last?" Government: "No one knows. All Covid "vaccines" are still in the experimental stage." "If I get vaccinated, can I stop social distancing?" Government: "NO" "If my parents, grandparents and myself all get vaccinated can we hug each other again?" Government: "NO" "So what's the benefit of getting vaccinated?" Government: "Hoping that the virus won't kill you." "Are you sure the vaccine won't injure or kill me?" Government: "NO" "If statistically the virus won't kill me (99.7% survival rate), why should I get vaccinated?" Government: "To protect others." "So if I get vaccinated, I can protect 100% of people I come in contact with?" Government: "NO" "If I experience a severe adverse reaction, long term effects (still unknown) or die from the vaccine will I (or my family) be compensated from the vaccine manufacturer or the Government?" Government: "NO - the government and vaccine manufacturers have 100% zero liability regarding this experimental drug" So to summarize, the Covid19 "vaccine"... Does not provide immunity Does not eliminate the virus Does not prevent death Does not guarantee you won’t get it Does not stop you from passing it on to others Does not eliminate the need for travel bans Does not eliminate the need for business closures Does not eliminate the need for lockdowns Does not eliminate the need for masking Feel free to copy, paste and share...we did. 08.01.2022 Huge shout out to Naked For Satan, Fitzroy! We received a formal complaint towards the restaurant when the customer was denied entry to goods and services because she was medically exempt from wearing a mask. After contacting management, he stated that it has been a very difficult time, with almost 8 months of closure and family health concerns, they didn't want to risk any more loss. They had a firm 'mask dress code policy' in place, but have now proposed they keep th...eir Dress Code signs up but if anyone states they have an exemption, they are allowed to enter without a mask. Our client was satisfied with this outcome and the management was really lovely to deal with. He appreciated the way we expressed ourselves to him and stated that he was simply not aware of the information we had provided. If you have felt discriminated against or seen signage that is not in accordance with the Government guidelines for not wearing masks, please go to our website www.humanrightsadvocates.com.au and lodge a formal complaint.

08.01.2022 Huge shout out to Target Australia! Our client was questioned every time she entered the Bendigo store and always explained that she has a lawful exemption for not wearing a mask. Furthermore the employees would get on their radio and broadcast to other employees that a customer had just walked in with an exemption and described our client in detail to them. After contacting head office we explained that this is discrimination, and how it made our client feel every time sh...e walked into their premises. It’s already difficult enough having to defend herself everywhere she goes, let alone being put on notice and being described to every employee in a large organisation. Target responded with a commendable resolution and made it clear that they want everyone to feel welcome when they enter one of their stores and apologise that they have not lived up to that, on this occasion. If you have felt discriminated against or seen signage that is not in accordance with the Government guidelines for not wearing masks, please go to our website www.humanrightsadvocates.com.au and lodge a formal complaint.

04.01.2022 NOTHING BUT RESPECT FOR BUNNINGS WAREHOUSE As most of you are aware, HRA were successful in having Bunnings change all signage pertaining to mask wearing across all 335 sites, Australia wide. This occurred some months ago. However, since then, we have had isolated incidents in separate locations towards exempt customers. Last week we received a complaint that our client was refused entry to goods and services and threatened to have police called on them, if the...Continue reading

01.01.2022 We consider the Victorian Government closing schools to all children (except vulnerable children) an impingement on our children's human rights. Article 28 of the Convention on the Rights of the Child states: 1. States Parties recognise the right of the child to education, and with a view to achieving this right progressively and on the basis of equal opportunity, they shall, in particular: ...Continue reading
