25.01.2022 With everything going on and how much DJ’s are already struggling, the last thing our industry needs is for Facebook to ban musical performance live streams from the general public. This is absolutely ridiculous and leaves us with no reasonable platform to turn to in order to share our music in a more interactive way than just through audio on Soundcloud. I will have a few new soundcloud mixes coming out soon with the slow roadmap out of lockdown being announced recently. Wit...h the amount of practise I have been able to put in lately, these should only be getting better every time. 17.01.2022 A last minute mix I recorded this afternoon for Creatures Events. I’ve been spinning my records a lot more lately and it’s totally changed the direction of my sets, however I’m still trying to get used to holding a solid path when incorporating them. There’s no doubt that overall they allow for the best mixes by far though, so it’s a skill to persevere with learning no doubt. 08.01.2022 It’s as simple as this. Men and women are different, but our differences are what combine to make the world whole. We don’t need to view men and women as the same, but we are most certainly all fundamentally equal in terms of our value. I am so proud of Mha for standing up for herself and all women within the music scene, and I will do everything I can to stand by her and stop this horrid pattern of behaviour that never should have started in the first place. I also appreciat...e her recognition that there are many other men out there fighting to support women in this battle as well. We as men should be so happy that women are doing as well as they are in the music scene now. They have the genetic code we lack to take us to all new places we have never allowed ourselves the privilege to hear and feel before. Feminine power holds true beauty that we as men have never let the world experience properly. Instead of being afraid of their power, we should embrace how much it can lift us all up together as a species. The music business is a place for men, women and everything in between.
