21.01.2022 Dressage lovers - we need you! We are conducting a survey about performance pathways in Australian dressage - that is, how riders progress from amateur to elite levels of competition. We are inviting people who are involved in dressage in Australia in any capacity to participate in our survey - riders, coaches, judges, officials, parents of riders, etc. (You don't have to be an aspiring Grand Prix rider - although we'll admit we have those daydreams, so we won't be surprised ...if you do too...) Upon completion of the survey, you will be invited to enter a draw to win one of six $50 Horseland vouchers. The draw will be completed in October 2017. For more information or to participate, please click the link below - it provides full information on the participation requirements and contact details for the research team.
20.01.2022 We are now recruiting participants for a driving simulator and on-road driving study! Participation will involve completing a questionnaire about your driving history, watching a series of photographs and videos of driving scenes, driving a short route in an instrumented vehicle, and completing a drive in the USC simulator. You will be asked a series of questions about each task and your eye movements will be tracked throughout these activities using non-invasive eye trackers. Sessions will last for up to 2 hours, and participants will receive $40 Coles Myer gift card at the end of the session to reimburse them for their time. Sessions will be held at the USC, Sippy Downs campus. To express your interest in participating please go to www.surveymonkey.com/r/USCsim or for more information, please contact Rachael via email [email protected] The study is being undertaken by the Centre for Human Factors and Sociotechnical Systems at the University of the Sunshine Coast, Australia, and the research has received ethical approval from Ethics Committee at USC.
