12.01.2022 The Australian National Blockchain Roadmap has just been released by Karen Andrews. Fantastic to see our collaboration with Typehuman, The Identity Project featured as a Case Study alongside other fantastic work by RMIT University, KPMG Australia, Austrade and many more. "12 months on, the project team has found blockchain credentials to be a viable technological solution to this problem. Other organisations share this view, becoming pilot users of a blockchain credentialing... solution. As a result, the Australian Red Cross is commercialising this solution and planning an early 2020 launch, laying the foundation for streamlined background checks and civic innovation." 03.01.2022 There are no words to express what is happening here in Australia with the bushfire crisis. Each year thousands of Australians are impacted by natural disasters and this number is growing as the intensity and frequency increases. With this comes a responsibility to re-imagine how we enable people and communities to support each other how we re-imagine trust. At Humanitech we're working on a solution to help support volunteer efforts especially in times of crisis. Called Th...e Identity Project we are developing a digital verification tool that will allow people to demonstrate their trustworthiness and reputation thereby enabling greater and safer humanitarian action. We have recently tested The Identity Project with some of our Red Cross emergency service volunteers and hope to make it available to more volunteers and organisations in the coming months.
