09.01.2022 Over the past few years I have met many amazing women in our community. Women like Penny Becchio whose volunteering efforts with Scouts Australia are legendary;... Nasiba Akram who does great work supporting refugees to settle in Australia; our wonderful NSW SES Local Controller Evelyn Lester; Wendy Carver the fantastic leader of our local Lifeline; and Salianne Mclelland who does incredible work supporting women in the region. All these women, and many others in our community, inspire me greatly. #IWD19

I would like to share this with a team of four young Afghan professionals: Lala Pordeli, Zaky Orya, Mansur Mansuri and Sultan Kakar who worked with me tirelessly to prepare our Constitution.
