Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts Jo ( The Pro) Unless you have stood in the shoes of someone and done their job you don't understand what's involved. I recently had the pleasure of assisting Humble Homes Professional Cleaning for a couple of days. I learnt first hand how physically demanding the job is as well as rewarding! Working swiftly and operating as a ...ninja cleaner with the utmost perfection is the minimum expectation. Professional cleaning is more fun then I'd thought but HARDER than I'd have thought. Yet I have only scratched the surface learning about doing a pristine job and doing everything possible to maintain a great first impression and go the extra mile. The staff are stars that showed me how to clean every crevice until they twinkled. Cleaning is often very taxing work and pros that have this "art" downpacked deserve recognition where it is due. The truth is that as critical humans we are inclined to find criticism ("you missed vacuuming under the couch in the 4th bedroom"). However we often fail to recognise the extra effort or extra jobs done ... and this is unfortunately just how it is in our entitled first world lives. Do we take that two minutes to send a text or an email to say "thanks, I noticed..." Instead many of us (me included) remain oblivious...until such time we do that job - IF we ever do that job! I am blown away by the intensity and dedication of this profession. Humble Homes is a business I'd highly recommend! They have superior standards, take great care to train and support their staff and run circles around a whole gamut of clients ranging from residential homes to the most jaw dropping holiday homes. Thank you Voyager Estate for the divine eats as always. And cheers to the spectacular whale who kept us company while we enjoyed our Moet! But most importantly thank you to these fine ladies who work so hard and deserve to be spoiled.
