25.01.2022 Highlanders! A reminder to jump on to TeamApp and complete the survey ASAP. The survey will close this Sunday 31st May. If you do not complete the survey, you will NOT be able to attend training when things start up again. No survey = no training!

24.01.2022 We know you're all keen as mustard to hear the announcement that training has resumed and so are we. However there are still a few things for the club to work through to ensure that we have a safe healthy environment before we can resume training. Rest assured the Board and Committee are working as hard as we can to get you back out there as soon as we can. In the meantime, please take this opportunity to start prepping for the impending training and 2020 season - get out t...here and exercise (adhering to the physical distancing guidelines of course!), eat healthy and start getting your body ready! Well this week weve decided to up the ante & make this a battle of the sexes - boys v girls! ... As well as a winning trick shot, the squad who has the most players submitting a video this week will also score a bonus 5 points for each team member. With things tight at the top of the leaderboard this could have a big impact on our overall challenge winner! 18.01.2022 An important update from HHC. Unfortunately, due to the latest outbreaks of the covid-19 virus, the state government has issued lockdown orders for a range of postcodes in hotspot suburbs. This includes Craigieburn, in which stay-at-home orders have been issued, effective from 11:59pm tonight (1st of July) and will run for 4 weeks until the 29th of July. This means that effective 11:59pm tonight, hockey training will be postponed until the 29th of July (or further notice, whi...chever comes first). We know how much hockey means to you all, and the relief that has come with getting back on the pitch, so please know that we will continue working of ways to keep the HHC spirit going over these next 4 weeks. year. The most important thing right now is the safety of our club and community and unfortunately we need to stop hockey activities for now to ensure everyone stays safe. Stay tuned to our socials and TeamApp for further updates and most of all, take care of your families and yourself.

17.01.2022 Keep calm Highlanders because it almost is hockey season! We are still waiting for some final ticks of approval but all going well we should be able to recommence training NEXT WEEK! We will keep you updated as to how things are progressing but in the meantime if you haven't checked out the update on TeamApp and completed the included survey please do this ASAP! If you have not completed the survey you will not be able to recommence training. ... We will be providing further updates this week about some changes we need to make to training to ensure we are adhering to government guidelines. We will also be announcing our overall winner for the HHC Challenge so stay tuned for that!

Hockey Victoria is running a level 1 Umpire Workshop - and even better it's online so you don't even need to leave the comfort of your home! 07.01.2022 IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING 2020 SEASON At a club forum last night, Hockey Victoria announced that the 2020 winter season will not go ahead. This is due to the increased spread of COVID-19 and newest round of lock-down restrictions to contain it. For some, this is not a surprise however regardless, we understand that this has ripple effects through our community that go beyond simply playing a sport. In saying this, we will be keeping the Highlander spirit alive by prov...iding a number of opportunities for you to connect with your teammates and club during this period so keep an eye on socials, TeamApp and in your team chat. We will be refunding registration fees to those who have already paid them and working with Hockey Victoria on obtaining refunds for player fees paid to them. These are unprecedented times and we hope you and your families stay safe and well. #HUUMMMEEEE
