23.01.2022 FATHER'S DAY BREAKFAST What an amazing turn out we had on Friday morning at our Father's Day Breakfast! Thank you to everyone who came along and enjoyed a pancake with their loved ones. We look forward to this event every year and once again it did not disappoint. Happy Father's Day to all of our amazing Dads, Step Dads, Grandparents, Carers and all of those who step into the role of Dad. We hope you had a lovely day!
23.01.2022 THE COIN TRAIL IS COMING... On the last day of school, Friday 25 September, the SRC are asking all students to wear their favourite sports team's colours for Footy Colours Day. All classes will be creating a coin trail on the day. Classes can begin collecting coins on Monday for their class coin trail. Students are asked to bring in one or more coins to add to their trail in Week 9 and Week 10. ... We are looking forward to raising money for kids with cancer!
22.01.2022 Today we say goodbye to one of our most beloved and longest serving staff members, Sue Melhuish. We thank her for everything she has done for our school and wish her well for the future. We know that the Humpty Doo community will miss her just as much as we will. Please pop into the office and say farewell if you get a chance today. Thank you Ms Sue!

15.01.2022 FOOTY COLOURS DAY Footy Colours day is TOMORROW! The SRC are inviting all students and staff to dress in their favourite team’s colours tomorrow. Students are encouraged to dress in the colours of their favourite sport in place of footy colours if they would like. Students have been bringing in coins to raise money for kids with cancer as part of this fundraiser. Our coin trail is in place of a gold coin donation on the day. ... We are looking forward to a great day to end the term!
12.01.2022 SHAKE A LEG Our amazing dance group, The Shake A Leg Dance Crew, performed at Taminmin Library today as part of NAIDOC week. We are so proud of their ongoing commitment and dedication to the group. Well done!... Thank you to Auntie Nat, Ms T, Mrs Wanganeen and Ms Tam for their part in facilitating this every week, and thank you to Ms Scott for organising a great day!

10.01.2022 ALWAYS WAS, ALWAYS WILL BE Yesterday we celebrated NAIDOC Day at Humpty Doo Primary School. Students participated in a range of cultural activities, including weaving and art. Our First Australian Leaders shared a dreaming story of Ludawei with us over the P.A., and sold jelly cups and painted faces at recess time. We were very lucky to have some special helpers on the day share their culture with us. Thank you to everyone who gave their time. It was a fantastic day!

04.01.2022 FIRE UPATE - Buslink o215 through Monck Rd area This service is now back on route of travel and running around 20 mins late.... The hold up was waiting at the Monck and Townend Intersection for the area to be deemed safe. This was done around 5 mins ago. All students that live in the affected area were collected by parents or carers at the staging point and the bus is proceeding to drop the remaining students off. For parents enquiries, the bus will wait with the students at the intersection of Monck and Townend Rd’s for further instruction from NTRFS Incident Controller. Parents are more than welcome to collect affected students from this intersection/area. The bus is due to arrive at this intersection around 1620 hrs.... If any more news comes to hand, I will update further.
