24.01.2022 A few new faces in the feeding program over the weekend. Still managing to feed at least 10-15 dogs per day. Some are only getting one meal but the main pack of 5th Street dogs (8 adult dogs) are getting two meals per day.

22.01.2022 Thank you Jane Menzies for the cash donation to Mily Store in Warburton. We were able to get 6 kilos of kibble - already in use

21.01.2022 Managed to feed twenty street dogs today (at least one feed for each dog). Was hoping for that number. Next step will be twenty dogs twice a day.

20.01.2022 Today’s feeding included: oats, chia, coconut flakes and spaghetti added after I took this photo

20.01.2022 Making up tomorrow’s AM dog food, with thanks to a Warburton nurse, Angila, for donating the ingredients used in this photo:

14.01.2022 Happy, relaxed, well fed 5th Street dogs. Two weeks ago, this harmonious scene of dogs casually wandering around would have been impossible. Two weeks ago, they were desperately hungry, now they are comfortable and well fed and are able to relax around each other (no more fighting for scraps). We have been humbled and absolutely delighted by the generous donations. They have all contributed to happier, healthier street dogs.... Special thank you for recent donations: Carly Anne May has donated 64 kg of dry dog food, delivered from Alice Springs to Warburton by Amelia. With more food in Alice Springs awaiting another vehicle for delivery. An absolute blessing- enough dry food to last a very long time as well as extending out the number of dogs being fed. Special thank you to Kellie Vincent for donations via Kalgoorlie and Georgia for delivering them all the way from Kalgoorlie to Warburton. Kellie Vincent’s donations of wet food, dry food, dog toys and medicine are able to be used for a wide variety of purposes as well as supplying cash-strapped locals with access to dog supplies. To everyone who has supported this community dog feeding project, I want you all to know that you’ve made a real difference in the lives of vulnerable dogs. They are doing far better in this short period of time than i expected, it is an incredible transformation from desperation to contentment in their temperament.

12.01.2022 Over 20 dogs fed per day. Although food bullying continues to be an issue (see picture for example), we are reaching more dogs and more dogs being fed reduces fighting overall. Most dogs on our street are now getting an AM and PM feed. I estimate 15 dogs are receiving two meals per day, and have been every other day this week.... The dry food donations have made feeding easier. Thank you to everyone who has donated food and money to this project.

11.01.2022 Ten dogs fed so far today. Some have left the feeding program as their owners have returned.

11.01.2022 Making up PM meal for dogs using ingredients donated by Porsha Rose

09.01.2022 Monday 13 January late AM feeding of 5th Street dogs using donated food. Trying to feed them all separately so they don’t fight over food!

07.01.2022 Thursday 16th January AM and PM feed completed for 6 adult dogs and 4 puppies

05.01.2022 14 January AM feed. 4 x dogs (1 separated off camera due to food bullying)

02.01.2022 PM feed complete: 5 dogs fed. Off-camera dogs separated to prevent food bullying

01.01.2022 Thank you Chris Chamberlain for your generous donation and wishing you a happy birthday for today!
