24.01.2022 This was sent to me by Don. He also told me that a few days ago, Ruth pulled off her oxygen mask and sang You Are My Sunshine with the choir. She certainly loved to sing. Her Funeral is on Thursday 13th 10am at the Uniting church Bellingen then after at the Bellingen golf club.

12.01.2022 Dear everyone attached to Hungry Head Ukes. As of last week I am on sabbatical. So no THUG's and no Hungry Head Ukes until at least October. This is for a number of reasons but mainly because I need some time out to concentrate on me and my skill base. You can stagnate sometimes when you teach. I also have a rather large amount of material to learn for my group The Outlaws before our concert at the Newkulele Ukulele Festival in October and I need the headspace to concent...rate on that. Then there is my mum and her operation coming up which I have to give my full attention to. Also the performance we were booked for in October has fallen through as they didn't get the Grant they were hoping for so we have no upcoming concerts at this stage. However, please keep strumming, picking and singing away and enjoy your music. Life is nothing without it. See you all in Spring. See more

06.01.2022 Our latest venture. Starting today we will begin work on this beautiful piece of music. Yes you can do it!! Of course we won't ever get to their musical heights or speed but it will be fun seeing how fast and fabulous we eventually become.
