19.01.2022 Fathers Day Whisky! Just making the last of the tops for the 57 bottles from cask number 2 - just in time for Father’s Day. Bill Lark was once again kind enough to write the tasting notes.... (If you want a bottle with a special number please let me know and we will try to give it to you)... Nose Warm buttered popcorn over bold notes of malted barley. Clean and soft on the nose. Hints of subtle fruits still on the tree. Taste A sensational creamy burst of sherry influenced malt building quickly to a big, full and rich mouthfeel rising across the palate delivering a delicious and rounded toffee note before finishing well rounded and gentle revealing a whisky bottles at the perfect strength. The finish is long, warm and very satisfying. Another great whisky from Hunnington. Bill Lark 18th August 2020.

Bill Lark very kindly wrote us some tasting notes: Nose Rich clean malt with subtle toffee and sweet caramel notes adding to malt in a beautiful combo. Hints of spice and wood trying to speak up as well. Good nose and sense of ale.... Taste A sweet and creamy whisky leading the palate to chewy Columbine toffee and luscious oily malt delivering a rich and intense mouth feel. Kind of wants to make you lick your tongue.
