24.01.2022 With the lifting of restrictions on Monday the 23rd of November, we will be allowed to have 50 people inside the hotel. We are working on a plan as to how that is gong to look for those wishing to come sit in the public bar and those wishing to come down for a meal. We are still able to seat 44 people on our outside deck. 22.01.2022 We are looking for some new faces to joins us at The Hunt Club Merrijig. We have bar staff/wait staff positions and are also looking for a kitchen hand. Bar staff need to have a current RSA duties will include preparing drinks, taking meal orders, waiting on tables and general cleaning. Hours will rotate and you may be required to work late nights. Kitchen hand duties include washing dishes,general cleaning and some simple meal preparation. This role is open to anyone above the age of 16 . Reliable transport will be needed as there is no option for public transport. Award wages will be paid. Please send your resume and cover letter to [email protected]

21.01.2022 UPDATE 29/11/2020. All seats are booked for trivia. If you would just like some dinner kitchen will be open 6-7:30 for outside dining. The public bar will also be open at 4pm and will close at 6pm for trivia night. We are going to take 2020 out on a high note with a trivia night on December 8th at 7pm. Bookings are essential as only 49 seats will be available. Please get a team together please ensure teams are no bigger than 8 so that we can get as many people in to play as possible. 13.01.2022 We are open and looking forward to seeing everyone again, we still have a few rules in place that we must follow. So please if we all do our bit we may get out of this quicker, if you have any issues with the rules please don’t take your anger out on the staff as we can only operate if we also follow the rules.
