25.01.2022 Amazing new TV series about innovation across this great country. Supported by our friends at AGL Energy. Check it out #advancingaustralia https://discover.agl.com.au/advancing-australia/
20.01.2022 Through thermal coal, the #Hunter has and continues to supply energy markets locally and globally. #AGL’s recent announcement of its intent to restructure is a good reminder that energy markets are being reshaped by changing technologies and consumer decisions, both forces over which the Hunter has no influence. Although we can’t control what’s currently driving structural economic change, we can work together to control how we respond and plan for it. So what are the collective decisions the #hunterregion can make that will enable us to participate in new markets and which will provide the future jobs for younger workers? How could a new #Hunter2050Foundation support you with change? Send us your thoughts via email [email protected].
19.01.2022 The Hunter region is blessed with an abundance of resources as well as smart people. It means that as we diversify our businesses and make changes in the way we work, we have an opportunity to branch out into new areas and new industries. We’ve done this before, we just need to be ready. A new foundation dedicated to assisting you to find and realise new opportunities could be an important part of that preparation. In the Hunter there are opportunities in wine, tourism, defence and racing, as well as a myriad of other growth areas. Many have already started, and we are keen to hear from you. Are you branching out? What are the growth areas you are looking at? What are the big opportunities for the region over the coming decades? We’d love to hear from you. [email protected]
15.01.2022 Infrastructure priorities will help to drive the future of our region, looking forward to seeing how these projects and reforms can support the Hunter. #hunterregion #committeeforthehunter #innovation #infrastructure
10.01.2022 An important project not only for #Newcastle but for the #hunterregion and the entire #regionaleconomy.
