24.01.2022 After a great drive by Steve in Race 3 at Adelaide where he passed 10 cars from the rear of the grid we are now looking forward to the Australian GP this weekend at Albert Park. Great to be a part of Australia's biggest Motorsport event on a track which really suits the Carrera Cup Porsche .

23.01.2022 After the first day of practice & qualifying we will be starting today's race from position 7 . A great result considering Steve has not tested or driven the car prior to this event . We are now looking forward to today's race at 2:30pm (local time) which will be live today on channel 7 ..

20.01.2022 Steve Johnson's quote from Race 1 . " Our 12 lap Carrera Cup race got turned into a 5 lap sprint after a lap 1 crash & safety car . I had a shite start & went from 7th to 11th . Got it back to 8th by the end . Hopefully I can get it off the line better tomorrow & run with Bairdo , Luffy & co. " ..

09.01.2022 Unhappy day for Steve in the #17 Hunter Sports Group Porsche. Another lazy start & dropped a few spots off the line. Was coming back strongly & came together with Karl Reindler (racing incident) at turn 9 while overtaking on lap 1. This damaged the suspension & cut the tyre & caused us to DNF. Starting off the rear of grid tomorrow & will be pushing hard to move forward ..

05.01.2022 We are pleased to announce that Steven Johnson will be joining the Hunter Motor Sports team for the 2013 Carrera Cup season driving the Hunter Sports Group Porsche wearing the famous no. 17 . We are on track for the first event of the season tomorrow morning at the Clipsal 500 in Adelaide ..

04.01.2022 - Day One report from Aus GP .. Only one practice for the meeting , spent most of the session bedding in brakes . Position 8 .. Qualifying was difficult & did not get a good , clear run on 2nd set of tyres when track was at it's best . Light contact with another competitor at turn 1 at end of session cost any chance of a good lap . Qualified in P9 but 1 spot penalty for contact means starting off P10 . Looking forward to Race 1 today at 6:30 pm ..
