24.01.2022 HOW LOW CAN YOU GO Our hardworking volunteers have been angered and upset by a spate of plant thefts from our beautiful gardens. The Succulent and Bromeliad gardens have suffered very badly and a number of significant plants have been stolen.... We apologise to our visitors for the increased security presence and the need to use hidden surveillance cameras in certain areas. It is Gardens policy to involve local police in all matters involving theft and vandalism.

22.01.2022 REMEMBRANCE DAY 2020 Today, Wednesday 11 November 2020 marks the 102nd anniversary of the Armistice which ended the First World War. One hundred and two years ago, on 11 November 1918, the guns of the Western Front fell silent after four years of continuous warfare.... In the four years of the war (1914-18) more than 330,000 Australians had served overseas and more than 60,000 of them had died. Each year on this day, Australians observe one minute's silence at 11.00am in memory of those who died or suffered in all wars and armed conflicts. (Australian War Memorial)
