25.01.2022 We have started building a few more agistee shelters/paddocks @ Hunter Valley Indoor Arena and Agistment. Here's what they look like now & pics of what they'll look like once they're finished.....and here is what you get Full use of 64mtr x 30mtr indoor with adjoining undercover 16mtr x 12mtr picadero. Private 1.25 acre paddock split in 2 for regular paddock rotation. Each paddock has a 4mtr x 4mtr shelter with adjoining lockable 4mtr x 4mtr feed/tackroom. ... Each paddock has a 8mtr x 8mts galvanized day yard off the shelter. Each paddock has 3 strand electric fence with laneways on all 4 sides. Horses will be rugged/unrugged, fly masks on/off as weather requires twice daily. Horses will be fed twice a day (feed will be provided by owner). 1 biscuit of hay supplied and fed daily. All horses will need to be up to date and brought in line with resident horses worming, tetnasus/strangles and hendra vaccinations. No stallions, colts or rigs. No DIY. Direct access to bush trails from the property. We treat your horse like it's one of our furbabies. All disciplines of riders welcome. 30 plus years experience with on site owner. $30 per horse per day. 19.01.2022 Hunter Valley Indoor Arena and Agistment is now reopening for private and/or shared lessons. Refine your horsemanship skills from groundwork to ridden, gain confidence, general riding, sporting, showjumping as well as on/off the lead beginner lessons available. Private lessons are $50 per hour or shared lessons capped at 3 horse/riders are $40 per rider per hour. 18.01.2022 Manolo Mendez clinic has fencesitting available on Thursday 19th, Friday 20th & Saturday 21st March 2020. The cost is $50 per person per day, please have the correct money with you on arrival. Lessons commence at 8.30am sharp on each day, all persons attending are required to sign an annual waiver to our facility. Please ensure you arrive early enough to register and get seated prior to the 1st lesson. Toilet Paper WOW, we haven’t had much luck obtaining enough for ou...r family! Unfortunately, we ask you to please pop some in your bag for your own personal use. We have to wait for the shopping frenzy of toilet paper to run its’ course when we will then have access to purchase what we need for everyone. Apologies for the inconvenience. In consideration and conforming with the public health guidelines we would like to explain our position regarding the Coronavirus Pandemic: 1. If you are returning from high risk countries (China, Iran, Italy, South Korea, Japan) we ask that you do not attend our facility for 14 days after returning. 2. For those returning from overseas from any location please do not attend if you are experiencing any cold/flu and/or respiratory symptoms within 14 days of returning. 3. If you are experiencing any cold/flu and/or respiratory symptoms and/or have had contact with someone who has been diagnosed as having Coronavirus we ask that you please not to attend. 4. Does not need to be pretty or educated, just safe, gentle and sound. Looking for an honest horse that accommodates unbalanced beginners without shying or dirt. Excellent home assure here at Hunter Valley Indoor Arena and Agistment. Lessons and guidance provided to owner who wants to improve her general horsemanship through weekly lessons, improve her general riding, trail ride and maybe play with some cows. 14.01.2022 We were very pleased to provide a venue for our local kids from Cessnock Pony Club today. The club has not yet been able to have a rally day in 2020 between bushfires, COVID and they didn't want today's predicted 40mm of rain to stop them again (not that it has yet fallen from the sky yet!!!). I met a bunch of lovely polite kids, helpful mothers and fathers and a welcoming and dedicated committee. They're taking memberships through their Cessnock Pony Club Facebook page. ... 14.01.2022 Manolo Mendez is unfortunately located in a hot spot for COVID in VIC as well as the state being in lockdown Manolo and his wife Kate are both well thank goodness!!! We are as disappointed as all of his keen students are - it's been difficult to go up against bushfires and a worldwide pandemic! Manolo is very committed to coming back to us once everything is safe to do so and very keen to work with his NSW students however thought it best to wait til the crazy settles be...fore giving us a new date to avoid further disappointment. All riders did really well stepping outside their comfort zone and achieved some great things Well done girls, thanks for bringing them mums & dads.
