25.01.2022 This bloke really is gnarly.
23.01.2022 An early 30's Victor Pyrox made by RCA these were used as P.A speakers in the early days of Talkies,at races, Shows, dances, anywhere sound needed reinforcement. The amp I've put on top is a 1946 STC with 7 watts of glorious single ended Class A Aussie power.
22.01.2022 A Late 60's Vase Bassman 80 deluxe made in Brisbane Qld Australia when we had a domestic Electronics manufacturing industry. Originally it had a pair of KT 88's. Now it's running a pair of EL34's so it's about 50w which is plenty really. The original tube bases were narrower on the GEC KT 88's so the new larger ones don't fit which is a shame but it sounds happy with the EL34's, fresh capacitors and resistors. Volume pots replaced too so no more scratching crackles.
21.01.2022 Guitars, keyboards,Amps,Banjos, mandolins,ukes, violins I fix them all.
21.01.2022 Another hand crafted Piers Crocker guitar in the style of the Rickenbacker 360F in burnt orange. Wonderful looking instrument.
20.01.2022 1961 Gibson GA18T Explorer all original tubes, transformers and most importantly Jensen 10" speaker. California redwood cabinet.Came from a shed in the Biggenden area. Rebuilding to play another day.
20.01.2022 Latest build inspired by a 1962 Gibson 79rvt stereo tube amp. Solid QLD silkyoak top, pine bottom, Birch 5ply speaker baffles, 10" vintage RCA speaker on left and a Cellestion G10" on the right. 2x 2.5" full range speakers set up as squarkers crossed over at about 5khz. Vox grill cloth,Fender blonde tolex a real mixed bag.
19.01.2022 Early 60's Hohner Tango MV 120 bass Accordion needed some reed's repaired and the bass matrix cleaned. These are amazing instruments built like a Panza tank and just as loud! This one cleaned up nicely and so did it's little brother the red Bella 96 bass. You can't beat a piano accordion for music power.
18.01.2022 1937 Martin 0-17 Hawaiian mahogany with original everything even a set of 1940's Gibson strings. A real time capsule all it needed was a clean up and a set of 11-52 Silkwound Thomastic strings.
17.01.2022 Built a smaller cabinet to suit a pair of 6.5" speakers this time I've added some red cedar and silkyoak for an art deco tilt. Turned out okay.
16.01.2022 Social isolation doesn't mean your music equipment can't be fixed. Just send me a message and I can help you find a solution to your problem. Cheerio and remember to be a positive not a negative.
16.01.2022 Mobile service technician. If it's musical and or Electronic I can help.
13.01.2022 This is great hope you like it too.
13.01.2022 Restoration time for this mid 80's Marshall JCM800. 2205 circuit with reverb though its missing the reverb tank I will restore it to the massive rocking awesomeness of its original build. Stay tuned.
11.01.2022 Repaired this well played and much loved guitar for an old mate this week. The old preamp was cactus so after some recycling of three others and some new caps. Presto! The Todd Keightley Maton rides again.

03.01.2022 Been a pleasure repairing these two instruments. The Tele is a well played 1965 with a B neck and Seymour Duncan humbucker in the rythm position. The Marshall is the classic JCM800 4210 combo with 2205 late revision circuit which has foot switchable clean and dirty channels as well as reverb. Individually great together they are outstanding. Rock n Roll
