10.01.2022 From Northern District Branch E It is with regret that we advise that the ABA Branch Titles to have been held at Gloucester District Archers on 12 & 13 September has been CANCELLED. This decision has been made following the recommendations from the Department of NSW Health that come into effect from today 19 August and will be in place for a minimum of 6 weeks. The recommendations are as follows:... Cease activities that result in the mixing of participants and staff from different regions, for example by ceasing zone, regional or state championships or competitions Cease any activities that result in overnight stays (e.g. multi-day training camps) due to increased risk of COVID transmission in residential-type settings with shared facilities Cease face-to-face social activities relating to community sports (e.g. award ceremonies, end-of-season social gatherings, post-training group dinners) Avoid carpools or bus travel with people from different household groups where possible For local activities, limit spectators to one parent only, where the child requires parental supervision during the sporting activity. 02.01.2022 A huge thank you to Lou, Tracy, Mick, Doc, Rod, Shirlenne, David, Jason and Julie. A small group but we moved quite a lot of butts in the rain, this morning. Thank you to those who worked yesterday and this morning at the working bee.

01.01.2022 A few from Hunter Bowmen travelled to Gunnedah on Friday for the Branch Invitational Shoot. Gunnedah set out two challenging ranges. On Saturday we had a beautiful hot day. We aimed at targets and some had pb’s. The bugs were friendly, the people were friendly, we sat around and chatted, joked, laughed, compared cooking skills well into the night. We were all in bed before 11.00. There were not many there, but we all had a great time, social distancing in a big circle. The sanitizer was out everywhere.
