We wanted something that was modern and clean, that uniquely represented Hunter Careers and the (almost) ten years we’ve been in operation, helping businesses grow through attracting, recruiting and retaining the best and most suited people. The logo shows how the right pieces ideally fit together and work in harmony to create the bigger picture. The business card displays how this ...leads to planned growth, shown by the embossed lines extending from the geometric pieces within the logo. 14.01.2022 Unsung Heroes: Ted & Diana de Lyster, co-founders of Windamere Park, have flown under the radar, supporting adults with neurological disabilities for 30+ years. They are committed to their cause, and have upheld excellence in their service delivery. Over the past two years Hunter Careers has recruited for Windamere, witnessing the growth and evolution of the organisation.... Windamere Park is set on a farm like property, offering accommodation for adults with disabilities, as well as vocational day programs, with a focus on learning & development. In the 80’s kids with neurological disabilities could stay at school until the age of 20, with nowhere for them to go to continue learning after that. Seeing a gap, Ted & Diana sought a homestead facility to set up Windamere. Initially charging just $25/day per person with a disability; Ted & Diana worked part time in the business on rotation, while continuing their other work to fund the organisation. They would do the daily bus run themselves, setting up the foundation for today, where Windamere employs 50+ people and supports 350 adults with disabilities per week. Ted & Diana have inspiring plans for Windamere’s development, to continue supporting adults with disabilities well into the future.
