07.01.2022 HGL Update. Hi HGL family, we are sure that you are all missing HGL football at this time, as we here at the HGL are. Unfortunately, in our last announcement we had to postpone our 2020 season before it began to help ensure that our members were safe and to help stop the spread of COVID-19. During this time. we have looked at a range of options with teams to either move or shorten the season depending on what situation played out. Given that the season is 3 months behind sch...edule and the Gridiron NSW season starting, it was was decided, unfortunately, that it would not be viable to run the season in 2020. Player safety was a key factor in this decision, with players loosing too much time in training as well as the fact it would prove extremely difficult to our members who also participate in the GNSW season. It was a very challenging decision for all of us to make and we know it will upset a the majority of our players, supporters and family as well. Although it is upsetting, we appreciate the efforts made and know it is an unavoidable situation that we faced in order to help stop the spread of COVID-19. Plans are already underway for an improved HGL 2k21, all players registration will roll over to the following season, ready to go. We wish all of our members the best of luck with the upcoming GNSW campaign with all of their respective teams. Thanks, Corey and Lee
