Yes, this includes earthworms and mic...robes, wildlife and insects, but, it also includes our rural communities. If every Kansas resident spent $5/week purchasing directly from Kansas farmers it would generate $750 million in new revenue. If these farmers in turn spent that money purchasing goods and services from mom and pops in their local communities, can you imagine the impact?? We would be building new schools instead of closing schools. Teachers, chefs, and shop owners would begin traversing from the cities back to small communities. If you aren't direct marketing any of your products, why? If you aren't shopping at farmers markets or buying direct, why? If you aren't purchasing from small business owners, why?
