20.01.2022 On Friday the 19th the team from Hunter Precast visited a number of sites around Newcastle to inspect buildings that had used our concrete panels in their construction. The initiative was driven by Group General Manager Richard Clement who wanted the guys to see where there quality panels ended up in and around town in local buildings and apartments. I think it is vitally important to get the guys out in the field so they can understand exactly where their panels end up Ric...hard commented. Its all about giving them a sense of pride in what they do and providing them a better understanding of the importance of the work they complete every day A good day ended with the team having a well-earned lunch and refreshments.

Ken has been employed at Hunter Precast as a Project Manager/Estimator/technical advisor for over 9 years. This year Ken celebrated 50 years continuous construction industry experience in Australia, New Guinea, and the UK. Ken is a Certified Clerk of Works and a Fully Licensed builder who is recognized as an expert in the precast world particularly around quality and design opportunities with... both panels and structural elements. Ken has been involved in buildings such as Cessnock Jail, The new Mercure Airport Motel, Puma Service station at Thornton and the Thornton Pedestrian access bridge. Luckily for Hunter Precast, Ken continues to be a valued member of our team bringing a wealth of construction experience and expertise into the office that is simply hard to find anywhere else. The safety initiative proved very successful in regards to minimising the "fall from heights" critical hazard on site. Well done to all parties involved in the process!
