07.01.2022 Is your safe grip belt clamp correctly fitted? You may have one of these wonderful red clips because it came with your car seat, or you might have picked one up separately (because they're awesome!). But are you using it correctly? They are designed to sit just above the buckle, on the sash portion of the seat belt only. Never to be used to hold both layers of the seatbelt, or on the non- buckle side.... If you have had it installed over both parts of the seatbelt, you will need to replace as it will now be stretched and can't be guaranteed it will work correctly. Tip: by positioning it close to the buckle, you can get a nice tight install, and it makes it more difficult for anyone to accidentally undo the seatbelt buckle.
