23.01.2022 Yesterday our students and staff united to STAND AGAINST RACISM. First they participated in visually representing and celebrating our diversity by placing their painted hand upon our wall. Then they were invited to sign the student developed Anti Racism Commitment witnessed by our ARCO (Anti Racism Contact Officer), Mr Skinner and a Student Council Representative. ... In return these students received a badge that was designed by the winner of the STAND AGAINST RACISM poster design competition, Imogen Coote (Year 11). It was a powerful way to come together towards the end of a challenging term. Special thanks to Ms Scenna for coordinating the artistic elements.

14.01.2022 Inspirational referee Amy Perrett, a former HHHS student, makes Super Rugby history! If you Google Amy Perrett or Female Rugby Referees you'll see that Amy, a former HHHS student who graduated in 2007, has made Super Rugby history by becoming the first female referee in controlling the Brumbies V Force match recently. Amy controlled many matches at HHHS from the time she was about 15yo. She also officiated the 2014 women's World Cup final a few years ago.... She was a delightful young lady who has clearly gone on to great things! Congratulations Amy. Mr Pickles Hunters Hill High School

13.01.2022 Today a group of our Year 9 students hosted board games at recess and lunch out on the Pavilion verandah in an effort to get people talking and asking RUOK? Students had been encouraged to accessorise with some yellow on their uniform to show their commitment to this national day, but to also remember that we always need to be looking out for each other. The day was so successful we are hoping to continue to run open air board games on a weekly basis.... Thanks everyone for joining in!

13.01.2022 Well Done to our Year 9 Food Technology Students! Year 9 Food Technology students have been learning about issues relating to food inequity in our local and wider community. Throughout the term, students investigated causes of inequity and researched a range of charities and aid organisations who assist the disadvantaged. Last week, we took it one step further and participated in a Problem Based Learning activity where students were required to work collaboratively in order t...o find ways in which they could combat the issue of food waste within the Food Technology kitchen by using only surplus food supplies, whilst making a difference to a group in need. The students selected Delvena Women and Children's Refuge. They planned and prepared a suitable menu which consisted of chicken nuggets for children and schnitzel for adults, roasted vegetables, pasta bake, carrot muffins and ANZAC slice. Congratulations to the Year 9 Food Technology students for making a difference.
