25.01.2022 Badge is cancelled until further notice. Our HHLTC committee will be holding a meeting this week to discuss the ongoing situation and will be in touch. For the moment please take care.... Official TA statement below: Statement from Tennis Australia and its Member Associations Effective immediately Tennis Australia and its Member Associations are postponing all Tennis operated events, competitions and tournaments until further notice. Tennis has made the decision to take further precautions in the interest of the health and wellbeing of our community. Our goal is to avoid bringing crowds together in order to help contain the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) and minimise the inevitable strain on our healthcare system. This decision is based on expert medical advice and is in line with the recommendations of the global tennis community. We realise this may cause inconvenience in the short-term however, our objective is ensuring our community remains healthy and strong. We will continue to keep you updated and thank you for your cooperation during this difficult time for all of us.

23.01.2022 HHLTC are following the strict guidelines in place for social distancing. Coaching is still available on court 5 with Rod and Lauren. Our courts are open and on rotation for social singles play only via booking system as per email sent to all members on Friday. Our clubhouse is closed. Stay safe & stay healthy everyone

17.01.2022 Stay within the lines - Social distancing is working, let's keep it up, follow the rules and everybody will be back in full swing soon

17.01.2022 All, Firstly, we hope you are all in good spirits and good health. From the latest announcements made by government and health authorities we do not fall within the category of an indoor sports club, but we have to be extremely serious about the situation. We have also heard of some tennis venues closing today until further notice. It is up to each of us to be responsible and follow the guidelines, especially around self-isolation (when required), maintaining the require...d social distancing and regularly washing of hands. Given this environment the committee has decided to issue the following directives (if more stringent directives are issued by the authorities then they will always take precedent over any we have) All club organised tennis is immediately suspended until further notice this includes all social and the Saturday badge practices. All internal club competitions are also suspended. Members, including social and badge are free to organise social tennis with each other but there is a maximum of 4 players per court. No gatherings or socialising in the club house. Coaching is continuing. Please remember to adhere to the social distancing guidelines ON and OFF the court and do not come to the courts if you meet ANY of the criteria for self-isolation. We will re-evaluate this position on 31st May, unless any directives from authorities are received before then. Please be respectful and courteous to others at the club at all times. Regards The Hunters Hill Tennis Club Committee.
