02.01.2022 It is with a heavy heart that I share this post. @zompshoez is closing its doors after 48 years conquering the shoe biz in Perth and Australia. I cut my teeth on both retail and shoes at Zomp Shoez nearly 26 years ago, and worked there for over a decade. It was such an incredible time of my life. I got to travel Australia and work in every store in Perth, Sydney and Melbourne, except Flinders Lane which was after my time. I opened the Little Collins Street store and worked ...side by side with some of the most amazing girls, most of which are still a huge part of my life. After leaving Zomp, I tried fashion wholesale for a while, but my heart missed the shoes, the buzz, the customer service, something was missing. Luckily I fell back into shoes at Hunter Store and the rest is history. But I owe everything to my time at Zomp and pay my respects to Greg Goodrick and all of the staff both past and present. What a legacy you leave behind Greg. I thank you, we all thank you See more
