18.01.2022 lets have a bit of fun.... Captions please

18.01.2022 Gday all. Just thought I would give you an update on Stephens progress following his accident. He is progressing well. Bloods have returned to normal levels thus avoiding any further intervention there. He is in a moon boot at the moment so still can't drive. Hopefully he will get the all clear when we visit the orthopaedic surgeon soon and then we should be back on the road soon. Thankyou for all the kind messages and support. We feel very sad that we are letting people down. Please accept our apologies if we have impacted on your plans. thanks Pam

17.01.2022 Thankyou ALL for your kind thoughts and messages earlier in the week following Stephen's accident. I thought I would post an update. Stephen was released from hospital last night and is resting comfortably at home. He really cant do much for the next few weeks, so I apologise in advance to all of our clients. Rest assured, we will be back in operation as soon as we can, but at the moment Stephen cant drive let alone be near horses who can be very unpredictable as we all know. He is in good spirits and will be back to his old self soon. Thankyou once again. Pam and of course Stephen (who does not have facebook!)

16.01.2022 Hunter valley horse transport will be travelling to the central west north west nsw and Dubbo region next week. If anyone is looking for transport please feel free to send us a message for a quote. We currently have bays available each way.

16.01.2022 Its been a while since my last post but its good news. Stephen has recovered from the accident and we are now back in full swing. We have done a couple of runs already to see how things went but he has been given the clear to start again, so we are back on the road. I am not sure if everyone knows but we are also trying to handle the current drought. We have a large property that we also manage so until the drought conditions are relieved we will be trying to spread ourselves between the property and servicing all you lovely people in moving your horses around. I would like to thank everyone for the messages of support and understanding. His accident could have been much worse. Anyhow, if you need transport please consider Hunter Valley Horse Transport. Cheers Pam and Stephen

13.01.2022 Hi All, there has been a negative response from a client on our page. I should explain this better then originally posted. We were travelling out to Warren to pickup the horse, when we did a rear main oil seal in the truck was leaking severely when we stopped at Dunedoo. We decided to return home on the hope we could actually make it as the engine and gear box was being severely compromised. We did tell the lady of this. The truck made it home and was immediately put in... the workshop. I had to go to Sydney and try and source the parts. I managed to get them and returned home to have them put in. The following morning we were advised from a dear friend that their partner had died under suspicious circumstances, so by then we were emotionally drained as well trying to understand why and what had happened. Yes we got out to the ladys place and picked up the horse. Due to the length of the trip we overnighted the horse, at no cost and yes it did sustain an cut to its face on the trip which we were very apologetic to the owner. They were understanding that accidents can and do happen. We care for all animals we transport but unfortunately at times, transporters are at the mercy of people and their comments. This is the first negative comment we have ever had. We are human too, we are experienced in handling horses as our many clients who have known us for a long time can attest. We are still awaiting the funeral date as the coroner is yet to release the body. So sorry to vent but needed people to understand the reason for the negative comment. See more

07.01.2022 I would like to advise that Hunter Valley Horse Transport have temporarily suspended our operation due to an accident that occurred yesterday morning. Stephen was found last night by Matt and me after he had been pinned by his foot under our Isuzu whist doing some maintenance. He had been pinned there for over 12 hours as Matt and I were transporting in Sydney. He was released by emergency response personnel and then airlifted out. He is recovering and in good spirits but a very lucky man to be alive. We will keep everyone posted as to when we can recommence operations. If you have horses booked in please contact me to arrange alternative transport. Thanks Pam and Matt
